Like many of you, I’m busy working, raising a kid and dealing with all the family things. I live with my husband, college aged son and our two awesome cats Winnie and Rocky in Markham, Ontario.
I love to spend time in my home - especially my family room because that room best represents my casual style, with warm, muted colours and it’s relaxed-modern aesthetic. My home is not perfect (you know, the old saying “the cobblers children are barefoot” or something like that) but like I do for my clients, I work with what I have to make it the best it can be. Most people tell me that they find my home warm and inviting -- and that’s the best compliment!
When I’m not decorating, I love to read fiction, listen to podcasts, walk and spend time with friends. I really enjoy being outside and exploring nature. I get a lot of my design inspiration from the textures and colours I find there. Coffee is my fuel. I’ve never met a woven basket I didn’t like and I believe that throw pillows are stuffies for adults.
